How do you make a dvd from footage you took from a video camera?
What are the laws of releasing video footage you shot and own that contain other people?
I am an artist and when I go into studios to record music I often take a video camera along to record the session or anywhere else I am that involves music.
I've accumulated so much video footage over the years I want to release it on dvd as a documentary...
Do i have to go to each person that I have on video and getthem to sign a release form? or do i have the right to release the video footage because its mine, and people knew they were being filmed....Im curious on the laws surrounding that.....
Also how do i copyright video footage to keep other parties from using it without my permission?
you always have to ask the person your filming for their permission first or else you can get in big trouble
