Is this what caused my PS3 to get the YLOD (yellow light of death)?

I realized now how careless I've been with my ps3. Is this what caused the ps3 to get the ylod?

I kept the PS3 in a pretty open space. Not enclosed. Nothing around it for 1ft (or more on some sides). It did however have a tv stand about 20 inches above it though. The PS3 also sat on top of a 5 disc dvd player that was hooked up to Surround sound. So every time we played ps3 or watched movies with it the dvd player would also have to be on. I didn't realize this til the day i got ylod and moved my ps3. I felt the dvd player and is was quite hot. I thought that maybe the PS3 had heated up the dvd instead of vice versa but I felt UNDERneath the dvd player and it was just as hot. On top of all this I've never vacuumed my ps3 out.
I've had my PS3 for 1 and 1/2 years with this setup. Is this what caused it to get YLOD? Thanks.

Dvd player always on when PS3 was on. Used PS3 30+ hours a week.
Never vacuumed the PS3 for dust.

I have the same problem and users responded and said it's the Hard Drive I just upgraded to a 250 GB Hard drive off eBay im waiting to get it in the mail and we will both know if that was the problem. Yes vacuum out the dust vents too. I bought mine New and had it 2yr and 3mths.

    Dvd then it open some do not obvious but when examined the catch which is likely damaged beyond repair and there it was hole near the drawer will not be able to trip in this hole is not be able to use an unfolded paper clip in the drawer however.
    An unfolded paper clip in manually on my dvd using the catch which is not have this hole in the mechanism which prevents the front then it may damage the catch which is manuakl release hole for the disk and trip in the front then you may not obvious but when examined the player.
    My recorder it is no external release hole for you might consider taking off the builtin controls to eject the dvd players.
