How do I install a laptop dvd drive driver using a installation disc?
How can I re-install Windows XP on my laptop?
I was re-installing Windows XP on my laptop for a "spring cleaning". Long format, reinstall Windows, drivers, etc.
But during the middle of the installation, even before I got to format disk part, my CD/DVD went out on me!!
I have two desktops. Are there any way for me to use that CD/DVD drive to re-install Windows on my laptop? I don't want to buy an external CD/DVD if I don't have to.
My laptop won't do a thing now. Just black screen.
Thanks for any help.
you could try a usb stick. i know there are probably videos on youtube that can tell you how to do that. if there are not find a video on how to make a .iso file and use unetbootin to write it to the stick.
